With his project entitled SCATTER FACTORY, Oxford-based songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Will Foster is creating music on a cinematic scale. During the 1990s, Foster was an integral part of bands like Delicatessen and Lodger. He was then brought in to play keyboards for Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler when they toured as the Tears. On other occasions he’s worked with Heather Nova, Simon Raymonde (from the Cocteau Twins) and Martina Topley-Bird. In the last few years he’s been keyboardist for the Fratellis, both on tour and in the studio. Among the acts that helped inspire this latest endeavour are Talk Talk, Japan/David Sylvian and Kraftwerk, plus composers like Ralph Vaughan Williams and film score specialists like John Barry and Vangelis.
